We have a very strong support engineering capability, and a key aspect is the provision of technical support services to in-service operators.
Our Technical Support Groups work with customers to provide technical and engineering advice to keep their fleets operational. They also communicate closely with design engineers to ensure all technical advice is thoroughly researched and - where required - approved. We are renowned for working closely with our customers, either under a fairly standard service delivery contract, or a much closer approach under our Integrated Operational Support (IOS) system.

Unmatched scope and experience
All our technical support engineers have hands-on aircraft technical knowledge - either through military service or from the civil environment.
As a result, they understand your technical issues, and can quickly and effectively research and solve any technical problem. Many issues are researched using the existing data combined with practical knowledge. However, if a problem is beyond the scope of the engineer (a very rare occurrence), our designers are tasked to look deeper to find a solution.
Our technical support engineers can also call on the services of the Supportability team (see additional pages on Supportability) to provide more detailed analysis in such areas as reliability and maintainability analysis.
